Dar Sadaqa: The Heart of It All
Every programme traces back to one place: Dar Sadaqa, the "house of charity." It is the kitchen where meals are cooked and the shelter where travellers and the poor find refuge year-round.
From this base, the association runs:
- Iftar Saim — ~2,000 fast-breaking meals each evening in Ramadan
- Friday couscous — 100 kg of couscous and 50 chickens for 2,000+ families monthly
- Laylat al-Qadr — a celebratory meal for 2,000 on the Night of Decree
- Daily meals — feeding the poor and travellers throughout the year
Beyond the Kitchen: Reaching the Mountains
The work does not stop at the medina walls. In the remote villages of the High Atlas, where roads run out, volunteers carry aid across footbridges and on the backs of mules. Twenty campaigns have delivered clothing and blankets to help families face the winter cold, and more than ten medical caravans have brought free consultations and medicine to areas doctors rarely reach.
