Our programs

Our flagship project is a Sadaqa Jariya — a continuing charity: feeding the families in need of the old medina of Marrakech every day, from Dar Sadaqa. Alongside it run the medical caravans and collections that shape our year.

The Sadaqa Jariya project

Iftar Saim

Iftar Saim

Every evening of Ramadan, Dar Sadaqa prepares and distributes Iftar to those fasting in the old medina: dates, bread, milk and eggs for close to 2,000 people a day, at a daily cost of about 10,750 MAD.

The Night of Destiny

The Night of Destiny

For Laylat Al Qadr, a festive meal is served to 2,000 people — chicken, bread and fruit. An operation of roughly 49,400 MAD, prepared in the kitchens of Dar Sadaqa.

The Friday couscous

The Friday couscous

Every Friday, 100 kg of couscous and 50 chickens are cooked and distributed. More than 2,000 families are served each month, at about 9,300 MAD per week.

Al Itaam — Dar Sadaqa

Al Itaam — Dar Sadaqa

Beyond Ramadan, Dar Sadaqa remains a place of welcome and food for wayfarers, the poor and the needy, where the charity of benefactors is distributed.

Medical caravans

Medical caravans

More than ten medical caravans have been organised in remote areas: consultations, care and medicine provided by volunteer doctors, nurses and pharmacists.

Clothing and blankets

Clothing and blankets

Twenty campaigns distributing clothing and blankets have been carried out in remote regions, helping families face the cold of winter.

The Eid sacrifice meat
