Sponsorship is a committed way to give: instead of a one-off gift, you take on a specific action and know exactly what it achieves. Several forms of sponsorship exist in Morocco. Here are the ones Maroc Générations offers, and how they work.
Please note: Maroc Générations does not offer individual child sponsorship. Our sponsorships cover concrete collective actions: a family's Ramadan, a village school, a medical caravan stage or an Eid sheep.
The 4 forms of sponsorship
1. Sponsor a family's Ramadan
Monthly support that pays for a family's Iftar throughout Ramadan. During the holy month, the Iftar Saim operation serves about 2,000 fast-breaking meals every evening in Marrakech; your sponsorship secures a family's place at that table.
2. Sponsor a village school
This sponsorship pays for books and toys for a rural school in the High Atlas for a full school year. In mountain villages these materials are often missing, and they change pupils' daily lives.
3. Sponsor a medical caravan stage
A medical caravan brings free consultations and medicines to areas where healthcare is hard to reach. Your sponsorship pays for a full stage: doctors, medicines and logistics.
4. Sponsor a sheep for Eid al-Adha
For Eid al-Adha, you can sponsor a sheep for a family in need (seasonal offer), as part of the Farhat Al Aïd action.
